# OrcaFilm

> OrcaFilm is an AI filmmaking pipeline for directors, DPs, previs and virtual-production artists. It takes a scene from script page to graybox to final frame in one connected desktop workspace, speaks the language of cinema (lenses, T-stops, lighting, film stocks, camera moves), and uses your own API keys. OrcaFilm is in private beta; join the waitlist at https://orcafilm.com/#join. Made by SquareCircleLabs (https://squarecirclelabs.com).

## What it does
- Write it: screenplay-format script broken down into scenes and shot cards (shot type, lens, aperture, aspect ratio).
- Light it: pre-vis film prompt builder backed by a cinematography reference library (lighting, lenses, cameras, film stocks, camera movements, genres, photographer and movie looks).
- Generate: AI image and AI video generation with model choice and per-model pricing; iterate in stills, generate video once.
- Block it in 3D: a full Blender extension captures camera-accurate graybox clips (clay, depth and edge control passes); an Unreal Engine bridge turns blockouts into a live virtual set.
- Render it as AI: Restyle Shot transfers the exact blocked camera and object motion onto a finished look.
- Cast it: character sheets keep a character's identity consistent across image, 3D and video.
- Cut it: curated take management (approve, reject, hero, compare) and timeline handoff to DaVinci Resolve with no re-encode.
- Pipeline order is configurable: 12 stages (Script, Pre-vis, AI Image, AI Video, Post, Editorial, Distribute, Ideator, Audio, UGC, Blender, Unreal) can be reordered or hidden.

## Bring your own key
OrcaFilm connects to providers you already pay for, with no markup: Fal, Higgsfield and OpenRouter. It hands work to Blender, Unreal Engine and DaVinci Resolve. A free companion tool, OrcaEdit, is a private BYOK image editor.

## Who it is for
Independent filmmakers, directors and DPs; commercial and music-video directors; previs, VFX and technical artists; 3D generalists and concept artists; small studios building a look bible.
